Heavy-duty trucks and buses running on natural gas reduce GHG emissions by an estimated 15 to 25 per cent, as compared to diesel trucks and buses.

W.A. Sam Shaw, Vice President of Natural Gas Policy Development, Encana, will provide the keynote address, followed by two panel discussions. Dean Foreman, Chief Economist, Talisman Energy will lead the Natural Gas panel. Alicia Milner, President, Canadian Natural Gas Vehicles, Karen Hamberg, Director, Sustainability and Environmental Performance, Westport Innovations, and Russell Davies, Manager, Transit Fleet, Calgary Transit are confirmed for the Transportation panel.
Fuel Forward: Propelling Transportation with Natural Gas will introduce and showcase new innovations and examine how natural gas can be moved forward as a marketable alternative to other fuel options.
