President
Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance

"Encana is delighted to become a member of the Van Horne Institute and to make a contribution towards shaping the future of low-cost transportation in North America.  With more than 100 years of supply in Canada and the U.S., natural gas has become an accessible, low-cost, clean alternative fuel source. Encana believes that education and public policy are key to developing the infrastructure required to support the expansion of this viable, alternative vehicle market."

"Our membership with the Institute will provide Apache a vital link to a collective brain trust that will help us find efficiencies and sharpen the competitive edge that’s critical to Apache’s continued success.  It is vital that we are at the table when it comes to having input to help frame future public policy and the Institute is one vehicle that will help us accomplish this.”

“Joining the Van Horne Institute helps enhance the CNGVA’s own efforts to inform, educate, and collaborate with other key stakeholders in the pursuit of cost effective, lower emission transportation solutions.  The Van Horne Institute’s leadership in policy development and in supporting broader dialogue on key transportation issues provides an important assist for alternative transportation technologies and fuels such as natural gas.”
